  1. Sprint provides limited Mac tech support on SOME devices (not all) and Apple does not provide EVDO support!
    Mac user who wants to use Sprint EVDO devices should request 3Gstore's 'PreActivation' Service
  2. Sprint Installation CD's may not work with Windows Vista! Vista users should order their devices from 3Gstore and request the FREE PreActivation Service.
  3. Prices are AFTER carrier discount given to customers who sign up for new 2-yr contract, and AFTER all applicable mail in rebates
  4. CDU-680: Supports RSSI & GPS On Mac; Includes 64mb thumbdrive with Mac, Win, Linux Software; Pay $249.99, get $150 2 year service credit from Sprint on 2nd or 3rd Sprint Bill.

Definition of Terms:

Sprint calls their EVDO service "Mobile Broadband"
Verizon calls their EVDO service "BroadbandAccess"
Both refer to their 1xRTT service as "NationalAccess"

Average Speeds by type of Network:
1xRTT 50 ~ 100kbps Download and Upload, bursts to 144kbps
EVDO Rev-0 400 ~ 700kbps Download, bursts to 2Mbps; 50 ~ 100kbps Upload, bursts to 144kbps
EVDO Rev-A 450 ~ 800kbps Download, bursts to 3Mbps; 300 ~ 600kbps Upload, bursts to 1.8Mbps
