Verizon Announces PC5750 Rev A PC Card
Now Shipping Verizon announces their 3rd EVDO Rev A Card. This is a PCMCIA card that is Mac and Vista compatible, has a built-in antenna and external antenna port. At this time there are a few issues with this card. We received our PC5750 for testing and here is what we know. Antennas and Amplifiers are available for the PC5750. The PC5750 can be activated and is fully supported in PowerBook 15/17" (Windows XP & Vista too). Now, here is the interesting news, when it comes to routers. The PC5750 does not currently work with the Kyocera KR1, BUT it does work with the LinkSys WRT54G3G-ST and the Top Global MB6000.
