Verizon's Coverage Map gets an upgrade!

Verizon's coverage map, which previously displayed coverage at zip code level, now allows customers to zoom in significantly to see coverage at street level. While you still enter your zip code to access the map, there are several more zoom levels which allow you to see much more detailed maps. The only problem with the new street level maps, you cannot enter an address, just city, state, zip.

Previously. when searching for service, you would see a map like this when you entered your zip code (but with fewer zoom options):

Now you are able to zoom in and view detailed street level maps to get a much better idea of whether or not you are actually in an EVDO coverage area versus a National Access coverage area. Entering the same zip code and zooming in produces a map like this:
