Sprint Adds EVDO Rev A to Chicago and Suburbs
Sprint EVDO Rev A Now Live In Chicago, March 23, 2007 According to users of EVDOforums.com, Sprint has enabled EVDO Rev A in Chicago and surrounding suburbs over the last 12 hours. Users in Chicago should see around a 25% increase in download speeds and 400% - 800% increase in upload speeds and lower latency (compared to EVDO Rev 0). Users with the latest firmware upgrades in their EV-DO Rev A cards (EX720, U720, S720, PX-500, AC595), should automatically see speed improvements.
