Sprint Connection Manager 1.0 Released for AirCard 595 and 595U

Sprint has released Sprint Connection Manager 1.0 for the Sierra AirCard 595 and AirCard 595U . Sprint has announced there will be incremental releases for this new conneciton manager. Future releases will add support for ALL Sprint Connection Cards, so that a single connection manager will be able to work with any Sprint EVDO Card (now, there is a different version of Sprint Connection Manager for each conneciton card).

Here is the roadmap for the Sprint Connection Manager

• Sprint Connection Manager 1.0 - supports AC595 & AC595U Only - Available end of May 2007 (Shipping 5/21/2007)
  
• Sprint Connection Manager 1.1 - adds support for GSM roaming, phone as modem supported
• Sprint Connection Manager 2.0 - adds support for ALL connection cards (PCMCIA, USB, ExpressCard, Embedded) AND adds support for Mac & Linux
