The AirCard 597E is Mac compatible, however, it isn't out of the box. We recommend adding our "Mac Pre-Activate" service, which only costs an extra shipping charge. We will pre-activate your card, test it AND include a CD with the latest Sierra Mac software.
Please note the AC597E is NOT COMPATIBLE with Apple's latest WWAN software, so you will not see the signal strength indicator in the menu bar. You can only see that with the Novatel cards.
