Security

Software

Auto-Connect (NDIS): Feature that improves interfaces with Windows for increased battery life, the ability to auto connect when the device is plugged in and a faster connection after Windows "Resumes" from "Standby" or "Hibernate" states.
Sprint Location Services: Using the GPS chipset embedded in this Mobile Broadband device and the latest version of Sprint Connection Manager, users can conduct a "locate and search", which plots their current location on a map, and then searches for nearby points of interest. Users can also enter their own custom point of interest query
The AirCard 597E is Mac compatible, however, it isn't out of the box. We recommend adding our "Mac Pre-Activate" service, which only costs an extra shipping charge. We will pre-activate your card, test it AND include a CD with the latest Sierra Mac software.
Please note the AC597E is NOT COMPATIBLE with Apple's latest WWAN software, so you will not see the signal strength indicator in the menu bar. You can only see that with the Novatel cards.
