BlackBerry Outage 9/7/2007
All is up and running and back to normal. All pending emails were delvered. 9/17/2007 8:00PM CST
There currently is a BlackBerry Outage / Service issue that started early this morning and it is still going on. Mail that took seconds to appear on your BlackBerry may take hours. RIM claims to have fixed the problem and here is their response: Some customers using BlackBerry Internet Service experienced a delay this afternoon in sending or receiving email. The issue has since been resolved and no messages were lost. RIM continues to investigate the matter. Service for BlackBerry Enterprise Server customers was not impacted. RIM apologizes to customers for any inconvenience. User reports of problems are coming in from T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T users in the U.S. T-Mobile acknowledged that it is seeing problems with BlackBerry services globally, and not just in the U.S. The problem appears to be related to BIS email services, and not BES email services.
