If you purchase your PC 5220 Card from a Verizon dealer, they will tell you that Macs are not supported. They work just fine. First download the Apple Drivers. After inserting a PC 5220 card, you will get a messages asking you to activate it. If you ever want to update the PRLs (preferred roaming list) on your card, just hold down the Option key while selecting the signal meter in the menu bar and select Activate Card (you will not see this option, unless you hold down the option key).
