Novatel U727 EVDO USB Modem Antenna Connector

There are some internet based web sites that are selling Novatel U727 antenna cables for their antennas or amplifier. Watch out! These cables are NOT THE RIGHT CONNECTOR for the smaller connector that is in the U727 and purchasing one of these, will DAMAGE your U727 EVDO Modem (this damage is NOT coverered by warranty). So be careful before getting excited and thinking you found your solution.

BTW, the image above, is the schematic of the actual antenna connector / plug used on the Novatel U727 / USB727. 3Gstore has some cables that "seem" like they will fit, BUT inserting them, could damage your antenna connector inside your U727.
