In addition to new device support, the KR2 has new features similar to that of the Cradlepoint MBR1000 Firmware 1.2 release, reported on 04/14/08. These features include limited GPS functionality, option to disable 'bounce pages', one-button firmware update, functional WDS, and improved Signal Strength testing. A link to full firmware release notes will be posted as soon as Kyocera makes one available.
Kyocera has published a guide on how to update KR2 firmware.
