Smith Micro's QuickLink Mobile Supports the Kyocera PC Card

ALISO VIEJO, CA � Smith Micro Software Inc., a developer and marketer of a wide range of software and services for the wireless market, has worked with Kyocera Wireless Corp. to modify QuickLink� Mobile so that it supports the new Kyocera Passport(TM) KPC650 PC Card, featuring high-speed CDMA2000� 1x Evolution Data Optimized (EV-DO) technology. QuickLink Mobile, Smith Micro's leading connectivity product, will give end users convenient and versatile access to the Internet via high-speed CDMA 1xRTT and EV-DO data networks using Kyocera Wireless' PC Card.

QuickLink Mobile is the most popular wireless data connectivity solution in the industry and offers anytime access to email, file uploads/downloads, Web surfing and corporate intranets without being plugged into a network or landline modem connection. The solution includes installation assistance that automatically detects the mobile phone or PC card and sets up the user's computer in minutes.
