Cradlepoint MBR1200 WMM WorkaroundThe recently released Cradlepoint MBR1200 has been found to suffer from an issue that can prevent certain devices from being able to connect over WiFi.The MBR1200's "WiFi MultiMedia" (aka WMM) feature improves the quality of WiFi connections of certain voice, audio, and video applications. Enabling this feature on MBR1200 with firmware 1.6.3 has been found to deny WiFi connections from certain models of the iPhone and iPod Touch, and even some other mobile devices with WiFi capability like some models of BlackBerry phones. After much research by the mobile broadband experts in 3Gstore's Tech Support department, a workaround has been identified that will fix the allow the devices to connect via WiFi, but restricts WiFi bandwidth to a maximum of 54mb/s. To workaround the problem, follow these steps.
