Novatel Wireless Combines Convenience of 3G and Wi-Fi for Flexible Connectivity from Any Location MobiLink 2.0 Leverages WWAN and Wi-Fi Networks, Providing Immediate and Easy Access to Email, the Internet and Corporate Information SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 6, 2005--Novatel Wireless, Inc. (Nasdaq:NVTL - News), a leading provider of wireless broadband access solutions, today announced the availability of MobiLink 2.0 software, a universal connection manager that enables users to access 3G wireless wide area networks (WWAN) and Wi-Fi networks with any Novatel Wireless PC Card Modem or embedded wireless card. MobiLink 2.0 is a wireless connectivity application that manages the connection of WWAN, Wi-Fi and Ethernet devices to allow quick and easy access to email, the Internet and corporate networks anytime, from any location. With MobiLink 2.0 and a wireless device, mobile users can stay productive and connected to customers and colleagues while out of the office. MobiLink is optimally engineered to work with all of Novatel Wireless' Merlin(TM) Family of Wireless Modems as well as Expedite embedded modules for best-in-class 3G wireless broadband access connectivity.
