Use a Booster Antenna to Improve Signal & Performance![]() The Booster Antenna connected to the Sprint 598U Many new users of mobile broadband devices ("aircards") are unaware that their device has an antenna port where you can connect an antenna, to boost the signal and improve performance. Most of the aircards from Sprint, Verizon, Alltell, Cricket, AT&T, and some Canadian providers sold in the past couple of years feature an antenna port (not sure if your aircard has an antenna port? check out 3Gstore.com/jacks to find out!), and you can use this port to connect a signal-boosting antenna. There are a wide variety of antennas available, but the most popular is the classic Booster Antenna.
