Sprint to Launch New Direct Connect Push to Talk Service October 2


In 2004 Sprint acquired Nextel, which was primarily known for their push-to-talk features. Throughout the last few years Sprint has been focused on phasing out Nextel's iDen network, and migrating service over to their CDMA network. For users that like to use the push to talk feature don't worry, Sprint's new Direct Connect will launch on October 2nd to meet your needs.
