AT&T Announces 12 new LTE Markets
Yesterday AT&T announced
12 new 4G LTE markets where customers will soon be able to enjoy faster
surfing speeds. The deployments will start in the beginning of April
with coverage being added throughout the summer. AT&T indicates that
4G LTE will soon be available in Naples, Florida; Bloomington,
Lafayette and Muncie, Indiana; Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana;
St. Louis, Missouri, Staten Island, New York; Akron, Canton and
Cleveland, Ohio; and Bryan-College Station, Texas. At this time AT&T
has LTE live in 28 markets throughout the U.S. and plans to finish
their LTE upgrades by the end of 2013.
