Wilson Electronics Announces Sleek 4G-A for AT&T 4G LTE; 4G-V Version for Verizon Also Coming Soon
All versions of the Sleek operate in the same manner: the included magnetic mount antenna communicates with the cell tower, and the cradle (which has the amplifier built into it and is powered via USB or cigarette lighter plug) passively boosts the signal to a single phone or hotspot. The original Sleek, which has been enormously popular since its launch, does not cover the 4G LTE frequency, which is why these new versions are necessary. Since Verizon and AT&T uses different portions of the 700mhz frequency for their respective LTE networks, Wilson will be offering two different 4G versions, the 4G-V and 4G-A. The Sleek 4G-V for 2G, 3G, and Verizon 4G LTE will be available in late May for $129.95. The Sleek 4G-A for 2G, 3G, and AT&T 4G LTE will be available in June for $129.95. |
