T-Mobile Android 4.0 Tethering FeeT-Mobile has been one of the few companies that have never required any additional fees to tether your smartphone. Carriers like Verizon and AT&T charge additional fees if you'd like to use your phone as a mobile hotspot and now T-Mobile is joining the party. T-Mobile users using the HTC Sensation are already noticing that after updating to Android 4.0 the "HTC Sensation 4G will be required to add Wi-Fi Mobile Hotspot feature in order to use the service after completing this update." The fee is $14.95 to tether and seems to only affect customers after updating to Android 4.0. Let us know in the comments if your T-Mobile phone is now asking you to pay for tethering! |
