AT&T Lights up Cleveland with 4G LTE

On Thursday AT&T officially turned on 4G LTE service to Cleveland, OH making it the 39th market to get service. According to AT&T the demand for LTE is skyrocketing and the carrier says their speeds are superior to Verizon's network because of the backup HSPA+ network. The average speeds users can expect to receive are around 5-12Mbps download and 2-5Mbps in a 4G LTE area. In a Metrico Wireless Study they conducted over 20,000 tests, which showed that both AT&T and Verizon's 4G LTE performed comparably.
