Nationwide T-Mobile Outage 7/3/2012
On Monday 7/2 T-Mobile suffered a nationwide outage making the network inaccessible primarily between 6:00 and 9:30. Some users are still reporting issues connecting to the data network and T-Mobile hasn’t given an explanation for the outage. In a statement T-Mobile said "Some customers were not able to initiate a data session, or experienced intermittent data connectivity." T-Mobile is currently upgrading 37,000 cell sites and the outage could be directly related to a misconfiguration on tower upgrades, but for now we can only speculate on what caused the issue. |
