Verizon iPhone 5 Update Fixes Cellular Data Use on WiFi BugThere have been many complaints on Apple's discussion board and many reports of users using a ton of cellular data when they are on WiFi. The good news - is that Verizon has issued a fix for this and it is recommended for all users. The update is simple to install. Goto: Settings -> General -> About and you should be greeted with this message:
After installing the update and restarting your phone, head over to Settings -> General -> About and confirm that your Carrier is listed as "Verizon 13.1" and you have successfully installed the update:
