iMessage Down 10/30/2012 - Stuck on Waiting For Activation
Are you an iPhone user and you noticed that your messages when from blue (iMessage) to green (Text SMS Message). You are not alone. Around 3:30pm CST, many users of iMessage noticed that the service stopped working. If you manually disabled iMessage and then tried to turn it back on - you will notice that your iMessage status is stuck on "Waiting on activation" or got a message that says "Activation Unsuccessful". The good news, is that you can still message everyone, it will just be like sending a message to your non-iPhone friends, they will all go as text message. If you are haing a problem with iMessage, please enter your City & State in the comments below. Notice the screen below, if you have a blue send button you are using iMessage, if your button is green you are using regular text messaging.
