Verizon announces new 4G LTE markets, totals 477 cities with 4G now
 

Today Verizon Wireless announced new markets where 4G LTE is now available. The latest launch brings Verizon’s LTE market total to 477 cities covering nearly 80% of the population. Right now Verizon has more LTE than AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile combined and users in LTE areas typically see average speeds around 5-12Mbps download and 2-5Mbps. Below is a list of the latest markets to go live with LTE service:

  • Escanaba, MI
  • Keene, NH
  • Lebanon, NH
  • Ruidoso, NM
  • Coos Bay - North Bend, OR
  • Pendleton, OR
  • Yakima, WA
  • Riverton, WY
