An explosion at a manufacturing facility across the street from 3Gstore's warehouse today required immediate evacuations and prevented 3Gstore from shipping most orders. Fox Valley Systems, which makes products for paint marking and stripping, is located at 640 Industrial Dr in Cary, Il, immediately accoss the street from our warehouse at 641 Industrial Dr. 

The explosion occurred at approximately 1:30 this afternoon and authorities quickly evacuated the occupants of all nearby businesses. This of course means that 3Gstore was not able to fulfill any orders after that time. Orders from earlier in the day that had already shipped out were not effected by the evacuation (if you ordered from 3Gstore late on March 5th or early on March 6th and received an email with your tracking number this morning, your order DID ship out prior to the incident), but orders that had not yet shipped by that time will not ship until we are permitted to return to the area, which likely will not be until tomorrow (Thursday, March 7th). 

We apologize for any inconvenience our customers experience as a result of their orders being delayed. Obviously, this was not something that could be avoided or worked around! We appreciate your understanding and will update all effected customers as soon as we are given an update as to when we will be able to return to our facility. 

And of course, our thoughts are with Fox Valley Systems and the crews battling the fires, and we sincerely hope for a speedy recovery for anyone injured.
