FusionHub - Taking SpeedFusion and PepVPN To The Next Level

Peplink’s current SpeedFusion technology powers enterprise VPNs that tap into the bandwidth of up to 13 low-cost cable, DSL, 3G/4G/LTE, and other links connected anywhere on your corporate or institutional WAN. Whether you’re transferring a few documents or driving realtime POS data, video feeds, and VoIP conversations, SpeedFusion pumps all your data down a single fat datapipe that’s budget-friendly, ultra-fast, and easily configurable to suit any networking environment.

The drawback to SpeedFusion is that is requires at least two pieces of physical hardware. For example a corporate datacenter may have a Peplink Balance 380 while a remote office has a Peplink Balance 210. Creating a SpeedFusion tunnel between these locations is very easy, and within minutes you’ll have an unbreakable VPN connection between these locations. What if your business doesn’t require a high end router like the Balance 380, but you want to take advantage of all the benefits that SpeedFusion has to offer?

Enter FusionHub. FusionHub is essentially a virtualized SpeedFusion capable router that can run on just about any platform. While still in beta testing, FusionHub is limited to VMware images, but as it comes closer to release, we’ll see Oracle and Citrix integration. FusionHub will allow you to run a virtual image in one location, and depending on the license you purchase for FusionHub, connect and bond dozens of remote offices and WAN connections making for a rock solid, easy to deploy network. The uses are limitless, and SpeedFusion will soon be freed from the bonds of its hardware shell, ready to deliver rock solid performance from any location.

3Gstore has been part of the FusionHub beta testing from day one, and we’ll continue to be your SpeedFusion experts. If you have a data center, branch offices, remote employees, retail locations that can’t afford to be offline or disconnected from a corporate network, contact us and we’ll come up with a Peplink deployment customized to your needs.
