iOS 8 Bluetooth Issues - Car Bluetooth

Did you recently upgrade to iOS8 and the bluetooth in your car has stopped working?  Music streaming is working, but you can no longer make or receive a phone call via bluetooth?  You are not alone.  A very popular thread on the Apple discussion board (8500 views) has a list of all the cars that are having issues (it is most: Audi, Prius, Mercedes, Ford, Volkswagen, BMW and many others)  .  iPhone 5s that worked great with iOS7, stopped working after upgrading to iOS 8.

Here is the best way to describe the issue: "Sometimes as my phone connects to the bluetooth kit my car dials the last number in my call log but in fact its not calling at all it just says it is on my cars display..."

One solution that has worked for many is to do this:

Settings ->General ->Reset -> Reset All Settings

YOU WILL NOT LOSE any data, but you will have to repair bluetooth and enter your WiFi passwords.
