There has been some discussion on EVDOforums about the monthly taxes for Verizon BroadbandAccess. Many people think that for an $59.99 bill, the monthly taxes will bring the bill close to $80/month.

Not True. The monthly taxes will add .08 / nickel to your bill (maybe a penny more or a penny less, but that is it!) Depending on your state and the surcharges in your area.

The average Sprint taxes on a broadband card will be a little higher. Also, depending on your state and the surcharges in your area. For example we have a customer located in Lowell, Michigan.

Monthly rate is $59.99 

Taxes and surcharges is $1.27

Total bill is $61.26

So, before purchasing (or even after), there is a nice surprise for you. At some point, when Uncle Sam may see an additional revenue source and this could change - but for now, enjoy!
