99% of all EVDO cards install without a problem on a variety of laptops. If you are in the 1% that has a problem, the problem may be from the design of your laptop (e.g. not enough power given to the PC Slot), and many laptop manufacturers will replace your mother board. However, there could be other incompatibilities with other software you have installed, so it may be a good idea to be able to easily revert your computer to the state it was in just before you ran the data card installer. Windows XP has a System Restore feature, you can also revert back to a previous time if you encounter problems. Before installing, you may want to set a "System Checkpoint", which would allow you to easily revert your computer back to how it worked before installation. Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools ->System Restore ![]() ![]() ![]() When ordering a Verizon or Sprint Data card from us, we will check our lists for known problems with specific laptops AND if there is a problem with your laptop and the card you ordered, we will call you before processing your order. |
