VZAccess for Mac OS X and 10.4.7, Do Not Play Well TogetherYou must Uninstall VZAccess for Mac, in order to use Apple's built-in EVDO support in 10.4.7If you are using VZAccess 1.0 - 3.0 for Mac OS X, you must remove VZAccess in order to use Apple's built-in EVDO support, which is standard in 10.4.7. If you are using a Sprint Data Connection Card or even a Novatel V640 ExpressCard, you must remove VZAccess (if a previous version is installed). Failure to Uninstall VZAccess and when you insert an Apple supported card and the signal strength indicator will not appear. There appears to be a conflict when both Apple's drivers and VZAccess Manager try to take control of EVDO cards.
