Sprint Merlin S720 is their first EVDO Rev A Card!


EVDO Rev A will provide a big boost in speeds over the current EVDO:
  • dowloads up to 3.1Mbps (average will likely be 450Kbps - 850Kbps)
  • upload to 1.8Mbps (average will likely be 300Kbps - 400Kbps)
The Merlin S720 is the first commercially available dual band EV-DO Revision AGPS Capable PC card available to the market. Continuing its innovation and leadership position, Novatel Wireless has moved aggressively to meet the needs of operators who are deploying the EV-DO Rev A networks.

The Merlin S720 EV-DO Rev A PC Card provides high-speed connectivity to networks with data speeds up to 3.1 Mbps. It has an advanced dual band diversity antenna system design that incorporates an external flip antenna, maximizing data speed performance and allowing for stronger network signal reception.

The EVDO Rev A card is backwards compatible with the existing EVDO Rev 0 network and takes full advantage of EVDO Rev A which has lower latency and will be able to beter handle VOIP.

The refurbished card is FREE with a 2-yr Sprint contract
