Currently, Sprint does not have any *official* EVDO Coverage. More information and roll out information will be available here as Sprint rolls out coverage. On 3/3/2005, Sprint started selling the AirCard 580, they are also selling the Novatel S620 card (selling the card, but no service yet).

We have posted a detailed city by city map of Sprint's planned EV-DO Coverage According to a Sprint press release:

Sprint plans to provide EV-DO service in several major markets across the nation by mid-year with broader metropolitan-area coverage by the end of 2005.

Sprint is planning on offering 2 EVDO Plans.

  • $40 a month for up to 20 megabytes of data
  • $80 per month for unlimited megabytes of data (this is the same price that Verizon charges)
