Cisco Releases VPN Client For V640 / MacBook Pro

Image For those MacBook Pro users, who have been having problems with their Novatel V640's using Cisco VPN, Cisco has relesed an update to their VPN Client that fixes the bug.

Features:

  • The 4.9.01.0030 VPN Client for Mac OS X is the first version to support PPP connections on the Intel processor.
  • This release is the first to use the new Cisco logo on the splash screen and GUI dialogs.
  • This universal Binary release for Mac OS X ONLY supports OS X 10.4 and above on both PPC and Intel processors. This version does NOT support Mac OS X 10.3.9 and lower.


Resolved Issues:

  • CSCsd51113 feature unity nonwindows set mtu vpnclient.ini field
  • CSCsd51126 unity mac ppp intel fails with mismatch log message 10.4
  • CSCsc56445 unity mac rebranding volume name voids rebranding files
  • CSCsf19841 unity mac does not support 64 bit mac pro platform.
