"Sprint has made great strides in network performance, improving the customer experience. The company has invested billions to enhance its networks, increase coverage and capacity and these investments are paying off. Across both of Sprint's wireless networks, significantly fewer calls are blocked or dropped, translating to better connections for customers. The Nationwide Sprint Network and the Nextel National Network are performing at best-ever levels. Making and receiving voice calls is critically important and the core expectation of our customers. Our customers can trust Sprints robust, ever-growing voice coverage to keep them in touch with friends, family, and co-workers. Whether its catching a conference call or just catching-up, Sprint provides the largest voice calling area*, enabling customers to talk in more places, said Jones.

In addition to more than $166.7 million that Sprint spent in Florida in the first half of the year, Sprint expects to have invested more than $6 billion nationally to further enhance its networks in 2007 and to continue to meet the demand for extensive mobile broadband coverage across the nation.

Sprint Mobile Broadband allows customers to quickly download large files as well as access high-speed data applications using handheld devices and connection cards.
