AT&T Starts to Throttle Wireless Users This Week

Last week Verizon implemented a network optimization tool to throttle the top 5% of users, and this week AT&T begins to throttle the top 5% of their customers. This won't apply to current customers that have tiered data plans, only to users that are on older plans where they offered unlimited data service. According to AT&T those impacted typically use 12 times more data than the average customer and they're notifying these heavy data users now. You should only be effected by this change if you're using more than 2GB of data a month. Let us know your thoughts on AT&T's move in the comments below!
