Sprint to Score iPhone 5 Exclusive Thanks to $20 Billion Deal with Apple

The Wall Street Journal has reported that Sprint entered into an agreement with Apple to purchase over $20 billion worth of iPhone's over the next four years. This works out to around 30 million iPhones and it's said that Sprint won't break even until 2014, which is making people wonder why they'd risk it. Sources are indicating that Sprint will be getting the real iPhone 5, not the iPhone 4S as an exclusive. They're also indicating this device will be 4G WiMAX capable, while Verizon and AT&T get a 4G LTE version in the first quarter of next year.

The lower end iPhone 4s will likely get a low voltage Apple A5 CPU, updated camera sensors, Facetime HD and 1080P video recording. According to sources the rumored Sprint iPhone 5 exclusive will feature a faster CPU, larger 4" display with a higher resolution and 1GB of RAM. The device will be slightly thinner and features 32GB of storage to allow you to store all of your audio and video recordings. Tell us in the comments below what you think about this rumor, would you leave AT&T or Verizon if Sprint gets iPhone 5 exclusivity?
