Sprint and C Spire Allowed to Sue AT&T

On Wednesday a federal judge ruled for Sprint Nextel Corp and C Spire Wireless allowing them to sue AT&T Inc. over the acquisition of T-Mobile USA. AT&T had asked U.S. District Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle to dismiss the case earlier because they didn't have the right to sue over a deal that would result in creating the largest wireless carrier in the U.S. Not only is AT&T fighting Sprint and C Spire, but they also have to deal with the U.S. DOJ who filled an antitrust lawsuit as well. AT&T continues to claim that the deal will benefit customers by expanding wireless coverage, however, Huvelle ruled for Sprint indicating the deal would block their access to popular handsets, which are the main way carriers attract customers.
