iPad doesn't Support FaceTime over 4G LTE

The new iPad with built-in 4G LTE does NOT support FaceTime over LTE.  Instead the carriers are forcing you to use WiFi.  FaceTime does use around 100 - 200mb/hour and with the smaller data plans that could eat into that quickly.  If FaceTime is something that you would like to do, instead of purchasing the new iPad with LTE built-in, go ahead and purchase the WiFi only version and purchase a 4G Mobile Hotspot (get an extended battery for even longer use) and this will allow you to FaceTime while mobile or not near a hotspot.

Another workaround is if you have a hotspot feature on your iPhone or another iPad and then hookup your iPad to this WiFi source and you should be able to do FaceTime.
